IAHC knows the importance of an annual check-up. It may be the only opportunity during the year to discuss the health of your pets. IAHC’s pro-active approach to preventive care includes nutritional evaluation, well-being assessment and a progressive approach to vaccinations with the safety of your pet as our utmost priority.

Complete surgery, digital x-ray, dentistry, and digital dental x-rays are available in our modern facility. In addition to traditional medicine, acupuncture analgesia and reiki are available during anesthesia, surgery, and recovery. IAHC takes special care during the surgery process with recovery technicians on hand and utilizes Bach Flower Rescue Remedy for the patient during recovery.

One hour consults can be scheduled for a complete physical exam and evaluation of health. Assessment of diet, household interactions, and specific ailments such as arthritis, cancer, allergies, and more is evaluated as a whole and a treatment plan is then created.

We take the assessment of the patient beyond the exam room. IAHC considers home life an important part of health. In addition to appropriate vaccinations IAHC may recommend supplements, herbal formulas and diet changes to enhance their lifestyle.

IAHC was the first in the area to offer animals comparable integrative health services such as acupuncture, chiropractic, pet massage, reiki, all designed to improve your pet's quality of life.

We are excited to offer hydrotherapy: low impact therapy for your dog in our NEW

state-of-the-art underwater treadmill as well as a full range of physical rehabilitation techniques.

Non-traditional pets such as birds, small mammals, reptiles, and amphibians need veterinary care, too! IAHC provides routine wellness care as well as testing, treatment, and hospitalization for sick animals.  Dr. Papscoe has advanced training on these species and many years of experience caring for these types of patients.

Small mammals such as rabbits, rodents, and ferrets are prone to many conditions requiring veterinary care.  We provide ferret care from required vaccinations to alternative options to adrenal surgery.  We have tools for rabbit and rodent dental procedures from simple filing to extractions. At IAHC we are able to perform elective surgeries such as spays or neuters or medically necessary procedures such as abscess or tumor removals.
